Transmitter - HFX900 Transmitter - charger differences
Yes, the Transmitter will work for any of our Micro9 receivers as far as the radio is concerned. It is interesting to note that the HFX900 transmitters have a built in lithium polymer charger. This charger is configured with either a 10mm or 5mm Bahoma magnetic battery connector that you normally use to charge a lipo cell for your model. It's a convenient feature to have this charger with the transmitter, but since the charger is configured for charging one size of cell only, it excludes the possibility of having anyone accidentally connect a smaller cell and charging it at a rate that is too high for the cell. This is a design feature to prevent any mixups in charging cells on the Plantraco HFX900 transmitter
The charger on the transmitter set to charge at about 78mA charging rate, and the connector is the 10mm Bahoma connector. If you want to charge a small cell like a LP20 cell, you need a lower charge rate and the 5mm Bahoma connector to mate to that small cell.
So you're going to need a charger too such as the BiCha charger, or you need to get the HFX900 transmitter with the 5mm Bahoma, that is set at about 28mA charge rate - perfect for the LP20 cell.
Get the MicroMAV and also order the LP20 cell or maybe 2 of them and a BiCha is good advice for this one. Or get a second HFX900 with the 5mm Bahoma. Either way will work fine.
