How to remove and replace a motor - Rework.

Rework - How is it done? - With great difficulty!

It can be done usually, but yeah, it's a bit of crunchy surgery, picking away at glue and at the joints - trying to loosen things without destroying the structure.

Get some debonder and/or acetone, and daub it on with a Q-tip. Get it into the joints to loosen the glue. Keep acetone and other solvents away from all foam parts.

Pick at it with a scalpel blade, #11 hobby knife, or other probes.

Practice helps. If you are concerned about damaging a valuable piece, try it on a mockup first to learn what techniques will work the best. By Mockup, we mean, build up something similar, and use it as a "dummy" model to work on with the same techniques. Mistakes on the mockup don't matter, and give you some experience and develop your hacking skills.
