How to set up Vtail or Elevon Mixing Mode
Vtail and Elevon are mixed the same way, so the below method applies to either.
The Vtail mixing is switched in the transmitter by holding the right stick back as the transmitter is switched on. For more information on changing modes in the transmitter, see the User Manual.
This will mix the two channels together. The 3 channel receivers it will mix the rudder and elevator. If you are using a 4 channel it will mix the aileron and elevator.
When connecting the actuators, connect the right side actuator to the elevator, and the left side to the Rudder/Aileron. Then power it all up and pull back on the right joystick, (giving it up elevator). Both control surfaces should come up, if one of them goes down, it is plugged in backwards and the connector just needs to be plugged it the other way around.
If you are using a servo receiver and one of the control surfaces moves the wrong way you can connect the linkage to the other side of the control horn to reverse the direction. If this is not possible on your installation you will need to go through the servo reversing procedure outlined in the User Manual.
