Built and Flown to settle a wager over who could scratch build a new model on the fly with the DSS-1 (Deluxe Starter Set 1). We had to finish in 30 minutes or less.

There are some interesting innovations on this model. The carbon fiber loops make great "bumpers" and double as landing skids. The wing is a sheet of balsa found lying around. The Dihedral is held together with Dental Floss. Blue Electrical tape strengthens the leading edge. The control surface hinges are orthodontic elastics glued on with great haste! They provided great centering force.
She flew well on first test flight. A really creative model, not too pretty, but it was the fastest route to R/C fun that particular day.
